Luise kicked off the workshop by explaining the basic principles of machine translation (MT). The second part of the workshop consisted of exploring the difference between light and full MT post-editing.
What are the challenges? How does MT post-editing differ from conventional comparative proofreading? The workshop concluded with the attendees rolling up their sleeves and having a go at post-editing on their own computers.
